4/9/2015: Enhanced Risk Of Svr Weather For My Area

Post by VictorRichardson on Thu Apr 09, 2015 4:54 am

Good early morning. This is being posted at 4AM.

Today, i am talking about severe weather expected for my area. Most of the bad weather is expected after 1PM. As i speak, Bossier City is currently under an enhanced risk of severe weather. (The main threat being damaging winds of course, With hail and tornadoes lower than 30%).

And it's not just Bossier City under an enhanced risk. The enhanced risk stretches all the way from Tyler Texas, All the way up through Arkansas and the midwest, And to extreme Southeastern Wisconsin, Southwestern Michigan and Western Ohio. A LOT of people should monitor the weather closely.

This is serious. It's not another April 27th, 2011, But severe weather should always be taken seriously. The midwest is poised to get slammed, And it shows so.

More later when i have the energy.

5:13 PM update...

So far Bossier City has survived. Tornado Watch for here expires in 4 3/4 hours, and we haven't gotten hit yet. Don't rule that out though...As we could still get hit.

There is a severe thunderstorm warning to the west of us in Texas...But it's going northeast. I will be monitoring the storms around here anyway. The warning i mentioned has up to ping-pong ball sized hail (according to the radar).

And when i mean Bossier City has survived, We have survived. Bossier Parish has not been under a single severe thunderstorm warning or tornado warning all day.
